Introducing the 6-Week Yoga Program for Kayakers

This program is a unique collaboration between myself and Jennifer, a skilled yoga instructor. Together, we've crafted a program specifically designed for kayakers, focusing on the areas where I've seen many paddlers struggle. Our goal is to enhance your paddling performance, prevent injuries, and help you feel more connected to your kayak and the water.

Increase Rotation in Spine and Pelvis:

Every vertebrae in your spine and your pelvis will learn to rotate more, giving you more power for your forward stroke and a greater range of motion for easier 3D movement.

  • Enjoy more efficient paddling with increased power and ease of movement.

  • This will give you the range of movement you need to edge, and feel stable.

  • This rotation and flexibility is also what makes it easy to do the static brace, and rolling with ease.

  • So now when you paddle in rough conditions or edge for to make turning easy, you don’t feel like you might capsize.

Strengthen Core:

A strong core is essential for kayaking. This program will help you build core strength so you don't get fatigued easily while paddling.

  • Paddle longer without fatigue

  • So now when you’re on a longer paddle, or if you end up having to fight a head wind, you don’t feel exhausted and have to struggle to make it back. You might even start going on longer adventures.

Stretch Areas That Limit Good Posture:

Improve your posture by stretching areas that restrict your ability to sit up straight. With better posture, you'll have a healthier lower back, feel younger, and find sitting in your kayak effortless, even without a backrest.

  • Experience less back pain, more comfort.

  • So now you may feel like kayaking is great for your lower back, and you feel comfortable paddling all day. even start going on longer adventures.
