On Sept 26 we will end the last lesson at 4:30 PM.
On Sept 27th at 11:00 AM we need to be out of the group campsite.

We're thrilled to have you join us for the Kayak Alchemy Retreat on Pender Island! To ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable experience, we've compiled some essential information and answers to common questions.
Sept 23-26
There is a ferry that can take you directly from Vancouver to Pender island. You can walk on or drive on.
You will want to make a reservation ASAP.
There is a ferry that can take you directly from Victoria to Pender island. You can walk on or drive on. Please note, the ferry to Pender Island leaves from Swartz bay, which is a 40 minute drive from downtown Victoria.
There is a ferry that can take you from Port Angeles to Victoria. You can walk on or drive on. You will then need to take the ferry from Victoria to Pender Island. Please note, the ferry to Pender Island leaves from Swartz bay, which is a 40 minute drive from downtown Victoria, where the Coho takes you.
You can take a taxi to the ferry, walk on, and take a taxi on Pender island to get you to the campground.
The retreat includes camping accommodations at Port Browning Marina & Campground. If you have any specific accommodation requests or preferences, please let us know.
Check in time for camping is 11 am
If you haven't already opted for a kayak rental during registration but now require one, please let us know as soon as possible. We want to ensure everyone has the necessary equipment.
If you are driving to the campsite there will be room to park your car.
There is a grocery store, bakery, post office, and hardware store a 10 minute walk from the campsite. There is also a taxi service on Pender Island.
September on Pender Island typically offers pleasant weather, but it's always best to be prepared for a range of conditions. We recommend bringing layers, waterproof clothing, and sun protection.
There is wi-fi at the campground.
There is no electricity on the group campsite, but we will have access to power for anyone who needs it to recharge phones.
